The Schofield custom shop is proofing new case backs, we always test on aluminium to check the artwork. In steel the image is much sharper. As the designs get more elaborate the time on the laser increases. A Rare Things case back takes 1.5 hours to engrave, Mr G’s takes over 4.5! Yes 4 and a half hours of lasering PER single case back! This is why they are special. And my unbelievably cool design work, if I don’t say so myself.
