Our friends can be instigators and sounding boards for our greatest ‘eureka’ moments. I remember one such moment in which Simon was present; the day that the Markers family went from being a rough idea to a solid plan for future designs. We went together to The Daymark above Kingswear near Dartmouth when I realised the gravity of what I wanted to create was a real possibility, an experience that one only feels possible when lifted by their greatest friends and fans. Simon’s influence on the brand and as a friend will not be forgotten and he will remain a legacy in SWC’s history as we look towards a bright future.
