Best Lume Watch – Yes it
Evening all! Is the Obscura the best lume watch? I think so.
The Obscura hour hand – what a way to start the Pips! First off, let’s take in the precision of details. The rhodium plated dial with just the right amount of texture. The zero no longer slashed so it also reads as an O.
The black hour hand is so thick because it is machined from plate and not stamped that we can specify the edge finish! The hand does not require lume because it blocks the glowing ring on the dial. Reading the time in the dark by obscuring the light – neat!
I had an interesting conversation with Josh from Wallpaper magazine about the value of non-precious metals used in watch cases.
