A huge effort launched! Plus some Luxury Watch straps

Evening all! I am super excited to have finally completed a three-part art series  officially called The Monolith. The Buoys Club will get an email shortly – explaining the reason. It is the first new thing for sometime! Plus we take a look at some more luxury watch straps from both Schofield and Sugar Free.

For now I can tell you that they are a whimsy, an ornament or, with my Mr E artist hat on, illustrative engineering mash-up art for home and office. Machined and engraved blocks of stainless steel to stare at.

This is one of three different designs each numbered and signed. You are looking at Signal Lost, the others are titled Daruma San and Cash Chaos.

The North Downs (North of our South Downs) is particularly good for toadstools. Amanita muscaria should not be eaten – but you knew that right? 😉

Dad and I collected various Boletus for lunch. Although I am a fan of seeking treasure I do not favour fancy fungi over the classic Button or Chestnut. I can hear him shouting ‘peasant’ as he reads this.

While we are at it – pretty sloes. And quite relevant as I am reading the wonderful book Most Delicious Poison. Tannins feature both within the pages and in the sloes, drying our mouths by binding to proteins in our saliva. I like them for it. What does this have to do with watches? Nothing at all!

You see, Schofield lives here. I love it, which is why I Pip it. This is the River Adur, which is but a few metres to my left.
