Lift the main lid and you’ll discover a second lid made from glass. This allows you to view the cigars inside without unnecessarily disturbing the humidity.
The interior is lined in cedar traditionally used for cigar storage, with slotted partitions and a removable tray. The arrangement can be adapted to accommodate different cigars and collections.
The construction is considerably more involved than that of the Strap Box, incorporating specialised hinges, two lids, glass and the cedar interior.
The main lid is rebated to form two shallow trays, with SCHOFIELD machined into the surface. The small fittings are deliberately discreet, allowing the timber and black composite to do most of the talking.
Each Humidor is individually handmade, with the character and variations inherent in the materials and working process.
The Humidor can be ordered with a matching Schofield Strap Box. The timber is selected and worked so that its natural figuring continues across the fronts of both pieces, forming a single visual composition.
Equally at home among watches, books and other collected objects.
