Up in the mountains near Osaka is a huge Buddhist temple complex known as Koya-san. It is home to 1,000 monks and Okunoin, Japan’s largest cemetery. This is a magical place that dates back to AD 816 and deep in the forest I found this script. Does anybody know what it is and where it is from?
