The back of the Telemark is laser engraved in a unique way and one which is time consuming but, we believe, worth every second. This artistic rendering of Jomfruland lighthouse is spare, in keeping with the watch’s overall design, but revealing the stark lines, evocative of sharp, strong shards of ice or, if you prefer, the lines of Kirk Douglas’s compass. The concentric circles, a Schofield standard, highlight the asymmetry of the design but focusses the eye on the heart of any lighthouse: the lamp.
