
It basically works like this. Simon and I source new leathers and fabrics from new suppliers and manufacturers. Simon has the ultimate say on whether we should make something into straps, after all it is his taste imposed onto Schofield’s strap making. It might go like this. Simon, ‘What about this?’ Giles, ‘No it’s gross.’ Simon, ‘Perfect’.
Then once the strap is made I will say I was wrong, he is right, the strap is awesome. This has already happened on straps like the Dalmatian Spot or the Floral suede (pictured) for example.
